Call them continuously. Like that one time when your parents blew up your phone when you missed your curfew, and share with them the most important news updates.

Share ideas of activities to fight boredom. Don’t keep your conversations just only about the pandemic. Many cities across the United States are recommending social distancing as a solution to the virus, and those of us who won’t be showing up to work will need help talking about different things! Here are a couple of conversation starters & activities that we suggest:

  • “You’ve been bugging me for years to clean my room and help you clean the garage, do you want to tackle that together this week?”
  • “Let’s use this time to bond as a family. We can start a book club, have daily Facetime convos, play videogames or set up a group chat to stay connected.”
